His specific roadway experience includes Essen Lane, Burbank Drive - Segment 2, Central Thruway, LA 964 over the Comite Diversion Canal, I-10 widening from LA 73 to LA 30, LA 3241: I-12 to Bush, and the Pecue Lane Interchange to name a few.

He has extensive design engineering experience as it relates to stormwater pump stations and hurricane protection levee systems. He served as the project manager for the West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee System in St. Charles Parish, which included over 6 miles of constructed levee and the design of a 750 CFS stormwater pump station. Other pump station design experience include the Lakewood Pump Station, the Schexnaydre Lane Pump Station, and the Sellers Canal Pump Station all in St. Charles Parish, as well as the LaPlace Park Pump Station, the Reserve Relief Canal Pump Station and the McReine Pump Station in St. John the Baptist Parish.
His other hydrologic design experience includes the Master Plan for Drainage for St. John the Baptist Parish, the Jefferson Parish DFirm Study, the Urban Flood Control Study for the East Bank of St. Charles Parish, and the Conceptual Design Study for the upgrade of the LaRose to Golden Meadow Levee System completed for the USACE.
Mr. Shread's drainage experience also includes the Capital Lake Pump Station Project in Baton Rouge and numerous storm sewer subsurface drainage systems. This includes drainage improvements for the Gravity Drainage District in Norco, Louisiana, the Reserve Drainage Improvements for St. John the Baptist Parish, and the Bunche Village Subsurface Drainage Project in Jefferson Parish.
