Central Thruway consists of 7 bridges over approximatley 6.8 miles of roadway. It is a four-lane major urban arterial located in the northeast quadrant of East Baton Rouge Parish. It is a significant roadway providing a north south route in the Parish allowing quick access to US 190 and I-12. The Central Thruway passes near and around sensitive wetland areas to minimize impact to the ecosystem. Total Construction Cost was nearly $ 60,000,000.00
