A graduate of Louisiana State University and a registered engineer in Louisiana, Mr. Raymond has over 20 years experience in the design of transportation related projects.  Mr. Raymond has worked closely with various parishes, the COE, and the LA DOTD on projects of varying coplexityies.  The following is a list of some recent projects Mr. Raymond has managed and designed:

LADOTD Submerged Roads Program (Paths to Progress) (Phase A and Phase B): Plan preparation in LADOTD plan format for repair of urban roadways damaged during Hurricane Katrina. Recommended repairs for 25+ urban streets in Orleans, Jefferson, and St. Bernard Parishes. Identification of base failures, recommended repairs, development of typical sections, sequence of construction and quantities.

Central Thruway Paving (Sullivan Bridge to Frenchtown Road). Designed subproject for Central Thruway which involved implementation of pavement over existing earthwork project previously let. Plan preparation for pavement placement, geometrics, joint layouts, earthwork, and quantities.

Central Thruway Paving (Frenchtown Road to Greenwell Springs Road). Designed subproject for Central Thruway which involved implementation of pavement over existing earthwork project previously let. Plan preparation for pavement placement, geometrics, joint layouts, earthwork, and quantities.

LA 37 @ Central Thruway. Designed urban intersection and roadway improvements (UA-2) for LADOTD and the Baton Rouge Green Light Plan. Designed urban drainage, horizontal and vertical alignments, geometrics, joint layouts, graphical grades, sequence of construction, earthwork, and quantities.

LA 3064 @ Interstate 10 (Essen Lane Improvements). Designed and managed urban intersection improvements (UA-2) for LADOTD and the Baton Rouge Green Light Plan. Designed geometry to implement dual left-turn lanes on Essen Lane and additional Interstate 10 ramp lanes. Designed urban drainage, horizontal and vertical alignments, geometrics, joint layouts, graphical grades, sequence of construction, earthwork, and quantities.

LA 42 Burbank Drive (Bluebonnet to Highland). Designed and managed addition of two new lanes of rural highway and urban connecting intersections for LADOTD and the Baton Rouge Green Light Plan. Designed urban and rural drainage, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, geometrics, joint layouts, graphical grades, sequence of construction, earthwork, and quantities.

US 165 (Oberlin to Oakdale). Designed and managed four-lane rural highway (RA-3), and five lane urban arterial (UA-2) for LADOTD and LTM in Allen Parish. Designed urban and rural drainage, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, geometrics, sequence of construction, earthwork, and quantities.
